June 28 -29 - Savage, MN

After finishing up business in Sioux Falls, SD, Roseann and I decided to move on and stay in the southern part of Minneapolis at the Town & Country RV Park in Savage, MN. I would definitely recommend this park any day. The people were really friendly and helpful. The facilities and grounds were very well kept. It's quite and still close to everything with easy access.

The biggest thrill was meeting up with high school friend John Jelinek and his dear wife Mary. What a surprise & treat when they suggested we go with them to the LPGA US Open golf tournament. We watched Anika Sorrenson on the 18th hole fire an eagle from 197 yds. out. I'm not a golfer but I sure did enjoy the day. The lake salmon dinner was a great topper to an already fantastic day. We'll be back for a longer visit. We' look forward to seeing them again.

The worst part of the stay was our reintroduction to mosquitoes, ugh! We'd forgotten what pesky pests they can be. They grow them big here too.
