What a wonderful time we had this week. We decided to go to Jemez Falls, NM and spend time with our daughter and her family. We took our grandson, William, with us and waited for the rest of the family to join us later in the week.William was in heaven. He had a bike to ride when ever he wanted. He had trees to climb, hikes to take, and yes there were even chores to do. I got tired just watching him play. We even took some time to try our luck at fishing at the local hatchery. The hatchery is setup for children under 14 yrs to fish without restrictions. Unfortunately our luck wasn't good that day. We did get to see a snake though. That brought a little excitement to William's voice. We took a road trip to the Valles Caldera, http://www.vallescaldera.gov/ and to Bandlier National Monument, http://www.nps.gov/band/index.htm It was really neat cllimbing with William up to the cave dwellings.
Then the rest of the family came and it was food, hikes and "hand & Foot" card games. Laughs a plenty.
